Experience and Training

I hold a PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta, one of only five programs in Canada accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). As a registered member in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists, I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure I provide the best possible support for my clients. I have pursued specialized training in working with couples, as well as treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. I find working in Private Practice is a joy and a privilege — I am continuously in awe of the strength and resilience of individuals, and their capacity for change.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me enjoying time with my two kids, husband, extended family, or friends. I love to be outside and enjoy running, skiing, and hiking whenever I can!

My Values and What Guides My Work

The foundation of my practice is built on values that shape every interaction and session. These values are more than guiding principles — they’re a promise to every client I work with.

Compassion

I believe that healing begins with compassion — both for others and for ourselves. I approach every session with warmth, empathy, and respect, honoring your lived experiences. You deserve to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

Growth at Your Pace

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Growth takes time, and every person’s journey looks different. Whether you’re moving through anxiety, grief, trauma, or personal transitions, I meet you where you are — and walk with you from there. My goal is to create a space where healing unfolds naturally, without pressure or expectation.

Collaboration

Therapy isn’t something I “do to” clients — it’s something we do together. I collaborate with you to uncover your strengths, clarify your goals, and navigate life’s challenges. Your insights lead the way, and I offer tools, support, and perspective to help you grow with confidence.
